We are currently open April through January 2nd but are looking at options to expand our season to include March! Our facility is climate controlled to allow us to be open during the winter!
Yes! The venue currently has heat but, we are in the process of adding air conditioning. The AC will be available beginning the 2022 season! We also have add-on patio heaters for the cooler spring and fall dates.
Our indoor capacity is 150 guests. We also have an add-on option for two beautiful tents that can accommodate an inside/outside wedding for a larger guest list.
In short, yes. We do ask that you get your vendors approved by Wishing Pond if you are hiring someone not on our preferred professionals list.
We ask you end your event at 10pm due to the local noise ordinance. We like to respect our neighbors!
Unfortunately, no. We require any alcoholic beverages be served by a bar service that holds a Maine State Liquor License and is fully insured. We also require that you get day of insurance with liquor liability. We can help make suggestions for an approved bar service as well as day of insurance. No alcohol can be consumed in the parking lot.
We have a ready room that's the perfect size for small wedding party to get ready or for a larger wedding party to do touch ups prior to the ceremony. The ready room is available only for weddings the day of the event from 8am until the ceremony begins.
At the moment we have no accommodations available on site but can make recommendations. We can also make recommendations for bus and limo services.
Because the entire building is made primarily of locally sourced wood, we are not allowed to have any flame inside or within 25 feet of the building due to fire code. If you'd like to do a sparkler send off we have a specific place it must be done and charge an add-on service fee.
We do not allow confetti, rice, bird seed, or any synthetic materials on the property. If you choose to do real flower petals or leaves you are responsible for clean up or will be charged a clean up fee.
In order to secure a date we require a $1000 non refundable deposit and signed contract. After securing your date, 50% of the rental fee is due 6 months prior to your event, 75% of the rental fee is due 3 months prior to your event, and the remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to event.
